If you want to skip the store, you can get free shipping from REI.com as long as you spend more than $50. Shopping online also gives you the option to find great deals on items in the REI Outlet. In some cases you can even combine those special prices with one of these REI promo codes to save even more.

1. Select a REI promo code from the list above.

2. Visit REI.com and shop for any items you'd like to purchase.

3. To purchase something, select any preferences associated with the item. These may include size, color, or quantity. Then click the orange "Add to Cart" button.

4. A pop-up will appear in the top-right corner of the screen with details of the items in your cart. Click the orange "Checkout" button on the bottom right corner of the pop-up.

5. Review the items in your shopping cart to ensure all of the preferences are correct. Then click the orange "Proceed to Checkout" button at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

6. To continue checking out, you need to have an REI account. To create an account click the orange "Register" button.

7. Provide a name, e-mail address, and zip code to create an account. After inputting all the required information, click the orange "Submit" button.

8. The next screen will confirm an account has been created successfully. Click the orange "Continue Checkout" button to proceed.

9. View all the items placed in the cart. Scroll down to input a billing address. Hit the green “Add New Shipping Address” button if your billing and shipping addresses are different. Towards the bottom of the page there's a field to input your promo code. Click the white box and enter the code, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the orange "Continue" button.

10. Choose a delivery option for the order. Standard shipping will be the least expensive option, unless there is a promotion code to reduce the cost of expedited shipping. After selecting an option, click the orange "Continue" button.

11. Review the order before entering your payment information. REI accepts VISA, REI VISA, AMEX, MasterCard, Discover, or JCB for payment. To finalize and place your order, click the orange "Submit Order" button at the bottom of the screen and your card will be carged.
